Who we are

In 2010, after respectively spending decades in the film and art worlds, compelled to engage in a discourse about the state of the world, creative producers Corinne Weber and Yvonne Senouf joined forces to create MELD. Originally conceived as a non-profit, MELD acts as an experimental laboratory, inviting exceptional and emerging artists and thinkers to unite, using the power of art as a catalyst to cultivate change. Through these collaborations, we provoke new perceptions, inspire engagement, build awareness and find creative solutions to issues rooted in climate change and social justice.

  • MELD is a creative production and consulting studio melding the arts and the sciences to create new perceptions on climate-related issues and their consequences.  We produce custom-made activations and advise on creative branding solutions anchored in sustainability.

Confronted with the pressing environmental challenges of today, the arts have a critical role to play in the climate story - creativity can make scientific fact more accessible and stimulate emotion, empathy and widen our perception. Using trans-disciplinary research and our collective of like-minded creatives, MELD crafts immersive stories and designs memorable art-driven experiences to push the boundaries and make the invisible visible.

MELD is unique in its process, with unrivaled access to leading contemporary creatives in the fields of Art, Film, Science, Design, New Technology, Architecture, Performance, Music, among others. Collaboration is at the essence of MELD’s strategy model; an eclectic eco-system contributes to the successful realization of elaborate and socially relevant projects. MELD works with each partner to maximize and leverage their own unique assets and special expertise to achieve enhanced economies of scale which otherwise would not be possible to achieve.

As a meeting point of culture (art + science), commerce, technology and community, MELD also acts as a bridge, creating new platforms for dialogue.  We promote audience engagement, educate and empower individuals to participate in the change process to raise awareness surrounding issues embedded in climate change and social justice.
